Can I Get a Prescription Outside Australia?
At Pet Chemist, we can only dispense prescription (Schedule 4) medication with a valid prescription from an Australian-registered veterinarian. The prescription must be provided on the vet clinic’s official letterhead.
What’s Included in a Valid Prescription?
A valid veterinary prescription should contain:
- Your pet's details
- The prescribed medication
- Clear directions for use
- The veterinarian’s signature
Please Note: A medication label or tax invoice is not considered a valid prescription.
How to Submit Your Prescription
- Obtain a Valid Prescription: Make sure your vet provides the prescription on their clinic’s letterhead.
- Submit the Prescription: Upload your prescription during checkout or send it directly to our team if needed.
- Proceed with Your Order: Once we’ve received the valid prescription, we’ll process your order for the prescribed medication.
