# Why am I seeing a medication delivery limit message at checkout?

Prescription medications are shipped via a **Express  service** to help ensure they arrive as quickly as possible.

To keep shipping costs affordable, we have a flat rate express delivery fee for medication, Australia- wide.

We can usually fit small, light weight non medication products together in the delivery box, but are limited to;

* Medication orders can include up to **3 kg**
* Cold shipped medication orders can include up to **0.5 kg**

If your cart exceeds these limits, some products will need to be placed in a separate order and shipped separately.

Customers can still purchase all of their products — heavier or bulkier items simply cannot fit into the same Express Post parcel or Esky as medication items.

Additional shipping charges may apply for the additional shipments depending on the 2nd order’s cart value and your postcode.

# Standard Medication Orders – 3 kg Limit

Prescription medications sent via **Express Delivery** have a total parcel weight limit of **3 kg to fit into the delivery box**.

If your order contains medication plus heavier retail items and exceeds this limit, you may see the message:

> “Your cart is over the medication delivery limit”

This is because the over the counter products cannot fit within the flat-rate Express Post packaging used for medication shipments.

## What products can still be included?

### ✅ Suitable to include in the same order

* Prescription medications
* Small healthcare items
* Treats
* Small supplements
* Lightweight accessories

### ⚠️ Products that may require a separate order

* Large bags of food
* Wet food cartons
* Cat litter
* Heavy supplements
* Bulky retail items

These products can still be purchased — they simply need to be added to a separate order.

# Cold Shipped Medication Orders – 0.5 kg Limit

Cold shipped medications are sent in insulated eskies using **StarTrack Premium** to help keep the medication cool during transit.

Cold shipped medication orders have a strict total weight limit of **0.5 kg**.

If your cart exceeds this limit, you may see the message:

> “Your cart is over the cold shipped medication limit”

## What products can still be included?

### ✅ Suitable to include

* Cold shipped medication
* Small lightweight products
* Small accessories or supplements

### ⚠️ Products that will require separate shipping

* Food items
* Needle and syringes
* Bulky products

These items can still be ordered — they’ll just need to be placed in a separate order from the cold shipped medication.
