Script FAQs - Do I Need A new Script Each Time?
1min read
You do not need a new prescription for each order, as long as you have repeats authorized by your vet. A prescription is valid for 12 months or until all repeats are used, whichever comes first. If no repeats are authorized, a new prescription will be required for your next order.
Instructions
- Understand Prescription Limits
- Pet Chemist can only dispense medication as authorised by your vet, including any approved repeats.
- Prescription Validity
- A prescription is valid for 12 months, unless your vet specifies a shorter duration or all repeats are exhausted.
- When New Prescriptions are Needed
- If your vet includes no repeats or specifies "no repeats," the prescription is valid for one supply only. In this case, a new prescription will be necessary for subsequent orders.
