# Script FAQs - Do I Need A new Script Each Time?

You do not need a new prescription for each order, as long as you have repeats authorized by your vet. A prescription is valid for 12 months or until all repeats are used, whichever comes first. If no repeats are authorized, a new prescription will be required for your next order.
